Venice, LA
Going to spend a week there (Feb 1-8), both off-shore and in-shore trips planned. Might even get into a yak for the 1st time ever? Hope to add a few new species to the Bucket List, especially red fish.
Anything specific or special that is a must do?

Given the diversity of the human species, there is no “normal” human genome sequence. We are all mutants.

I did a week out of Fourchon, LA about 10 years ago . . . in June. The heat damn near killed me . . . and we were offshore. I shipped about 50 jigs to the boat . . . they lasted about 2 days . . . everything down there has teeth.
I went with Kil Song and a group of about 15 from all over, Korea, Texas, LA, MA, NY, NJ . . . it was a blast you'll have fun.
I forget the name of the boat but it don't much matter - I think the operator was about ready to retire - he had already sold off a few of his boats - post Katrina

Just Googled it - Steve Tomeny was the guy we used Caribbean Sea was the boat. Website lists "Schedule" with trips from April 2007 - so I think hes done
