Handicap help
Happy Spring everyone!
My patient got his boat in the water but he doesn't have the strength in his legs like he used to anymore to climb up stairs or anything without struggling (major nerve damage) but he still gets around.
He's looking for a cooler that isn't this size of a Yeti that could keep fish and ice cold but also sizeable enough for him to use as a stepping stool to get on and off the boat.
Important detail: hes about 6'4-6'6" and easily over 200 lbs.
Been wracking my brain but I come up empty.

Possibly the coleman xtreme series. I have a couple older models in two sizes. That series have been noted to be decent budget coolers....sub $100.

I am not sure if I would want to be responsible in my recommendation, as I have never used any cooler as a stepping stool....but I will stand on mine at home and let you know what happens......hahahhahhaha.

I stood on mine. I am 215#.
It seemed pretty solid. Over time i suspect the thing may start flexing but maybe not as they are usually filled with polyeurthane foam. For 60 bucks or less its probably worth a gamble

Well it would certainly help me getting my sorry azz onboard at low end of the tide..... Might have to get one for my boat and bring it down if I get out with him again! That yard doesn't know what a ladder is, obviously.
