I run mine off 10/4 SJO cord...the generator is in the red neck garage which is away from the house...
The hookup is 20' away on the side of the house. .

Any time Jim Cantore is less than twenty miles from me during a storm is not a good thing.....

Still pouring rain in south Plymouth, but man the wind is fierce and I can see the beach is insane right now.

Kinda heavy snow here in Newport.
I bought a pair of Chippewa boots from lol bean last week and I can’t say enough good things about these in the snow. I wish I had discovered them 20 years ago.

Great boots, I had a pair for 15 years, they were the balls for my winter holdover fishing.

My dad lived in northern New Hampshire and he had a pair that he lived in winter - summer. I never paid much attention to them but I get it now.

I have no doubt that downtown Scituate where I grew up and lived through the blizzard of 78, is full of sea water at this point. Luckily for many on the coast, while this is a very intense storm and hitting at astronomically high tides, it's moving out quickly.

14” easily in riverside
Did the driveway, walk way, and 320’ of side walk (school zone town rules) around 11-1pm about 8” then, by the time I was done another 2” in the driveway
Just came back in from doing it all again and my elderly neighbors driveway and walk way as my good deed for the day.
Wife’s car in the garage, trucks outside.
Thank god for the stormr bibs and jacket! Bone dry and warm the whole time.

I have a oil furnace with baseboard pipes... no e glycol in them just water.
Bought a generator transfer switch that installs onto the furnace so I can run it off my generator, but that was 3 winters ago... still sitting in the box, not installed. I gotta call someone!!

We got about 16" in Freetown.....got the 250' driveway cleared last night.
Not even close to blizzard of '78....which was a two day event that dumped 3' of snow here.....power was out for a week.....national guard was deployed to help clear the roads with heavy equipment......took days to clear stranded cars off the highways. THAT was a blizzard...

Ya but 1978 did have a cool name like “Bomb Cyclone”
😜
I think the storm we had a few days before 78 was bigger than this Bomb Cyclone

people coming up with these names weren't even born in 1978...
...we got 16" here in Reading from this storm... there were some sizable drifts but it moves like feathers...no big deal.

A foot or so here.
It was a storm, a nasty one, and it impacted us ('cept for some coastal places) like many other storms.
It was tough on other places not used to it and it would have been very tough if same storm tracked 100 miles more west than it dud.

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.
