An oldie but goodie

Hi Joe!

On a sad note, I heard a report yesterday that Kay from Surfland had entered hospice care... God bless and prayers to the girls.

Sad to hear that about kay... she's a good woman. I've known her since '72... I haven't been there in some time..life just gets in the way. last time I saw her was at Ray's funeral. Good people... taught me a lot about fishing when I was young bye encouraging me to try different things...

On a side but related note... fishing is real good on the island right now... sweet mix of small and a few large in for good measures...they have been fussy following sluggos and plugs right to the boat.. even eels have been ignored...the new Radar is leaving me wondering why I waited so long... kayaks at night are no longer invisible..BTW.. fish still swims ..

Sorry to here about Kay.
While touring with sweetie years ago I saw the Surf land sign and stopped in.
I asked Kay how long she had been there as I thought that one would have to go all the way to Hudson bros. at the Islands end to get bait and supplies.
She told me that Hudson moved across the river and when we drove to the north end we noticed the change since the late forties and fifties
