3 million BFT sold in japan

https://www.npr.org/2019/01/05/68252...n-tokyo-market

Not good for the BFT ,, if they are looked at as a lottery ticket ....

This means nothing for the fishery. It’s cerimonial bragging right thing. A locally caught (japan) fish. First of the year.

The the Pacific bluefin tuna is labled as "vulnerable,"

The Atlantic bluefin tuna, a close relative to the Pacific bluefin, is listed as endangered

the southern bluefin, is critically endangered.

Not sure about nothing for the fishery

I’ll never understand how fishing for an endangered species like BFT is an acceptable or responsible form of angling.

Send a message via AIM to Raider Ronnie
It’s a meaningless ceremonial thing over there every year.
