Despite having model and serial number, the diagram led me to get bearings, and I found bushings< which I cannot get until tomorrow....
Not happy..

Hope you finished that ahead of this one. I'm so glad I pulled the old impeller kits off the snow blower this summer and installed some new rubber I cut off some 18 wheeler mud flaps I found that were almost new. If I hadn't closed the gap with those, I'd have had to do most of my driveway and walks with a shovel, as the 6" we got in Plymouth was as wet as it can get. Even the snow blower couldn't move the stuff the town plowed in front of the driveway, it was 6" of water and 12" of cement on top.

I did not.... Neighbor's borrowed Craftsman saved me. but the machine sucked compared to mine, when it has a transmission hooked up.... The 10hp Husqvarna at one of the properties I care for was a major PITA. Fought it the whole way. So I am beat up but all that had to be cleared is cleared ahead of the big freeze.
I did call Ariens and got a woman who sent me a large PDF file that was specific to my machine so I can now go get the correct parts... tomorrow. Probably wont get enough snow to run it this season after going through this repair. Figures.

I have had a 22HP Husqvarna for 5 years. NOTHING has stopped it and I'm in the Worcester snowbelt. Of course we are in SC most of the winter but my property management guy uses it when we are away and he loves it. Electric start and lots of balls.

Mines an old Craftsman, been painted, new wheels this year due to dry rot, but still runs good. Closing the gap on the impeller with good thick firm rubber almost doubled my throw first time I did it and when it’s super wet it’s the only way to prevent clogs.
