Corruption is really important to Floridaman
Pentagon IG plans to review wall contract awarded to company touted by Trump after questions raised about their ability to do the job and influence over the bidding process:
The whole wall scam is and always was, a just a way for Trump to get kickbacks from the contractors and building suppliers awarded contracts to do the work. As always - follow the money.

A reminder: The CIA General Counsel made a CRIMINAL REFERRAL to the Justice Department based on the whistleblower complaint and the details of the July 25 phone call.
But who cares

Donald Trump Jr. went to Mongolia, got a favor from the Mongolian government and met privately with the Mongolian president. A spokesman for Don Jr. did not answer a question about what the pair discussed.
How is this not a massive scandal?

It is being reported that he received a permit retroactively for killing an endangered sheep in Mongolia. i.e. it was poached, and then he received permission.
I won't comment on the need to actually kill a highly endangered animal for sport, but it seems pretty douchey to me. I don't understand the guys who fly to Africa to shoot elephants and such either, so clearly that kind of hunting isn't my thing.

Earlier this year, prosecutors with the Southern District of New York (SDNY) opened up a new front in the investigation of criminal acts by the Trump 2016 campaign and the president himself, sending a sweeping subpoena to the Trump inaugural committee that includes charges of money laundering and fraud. The subpoena reads like something that would normally be served on a mafia boss.
“A spokesman confirmed that the nonprofit 58th Presidential Inaugural Committee paid the Trump International Hotel a rate of $175,000 per day for event space — in spite of internal objections at the time that the rate was far too high. If the committee is deemed by auditors or prosecutors to have paid an above-market rate, that could violate tax laws prohibiting self-dealing, according to experts.”
Who negotiated the contracts and set the rates with the inaugural committee? None other than Ivanka Trump.

Looks like the supreme court is going to hear the cases, so come summer Trump will either be smiling or sweating bullets and praying he can somehow get re-elected to avoid criminal charges. Doesn't mean the family is exempt however, maybe they can move to Moscow and avoid having to testify.
