SINKING
you probably won,t hear about this .unless the coast guard releases a statement or the boat that saved him .says or post something .
There was a local commercial fisherman out of the water on this beautiful ….…… he,s been trying to get his strength back because both he & his wife are recovering from C-19 .
He was ogg Bonnet Point ……. he had 5 snail pots down that he was going to move to the upper bay . he had 5 in his workboat , one of the very 1st gray LiMA,s .I think they were 19' .. the fifth one was stuck & from what he says that,s normal / he does like what you do with a stuck anchor . but he chose to use his wench …………. you guess it .he rolled . like so many other bay fisherman .hes dressed to stay warm …...no life jacket …….. he went down with the boat ,but managed to see the surface . but he was already winded .
He made to to the surface & it wasn,t his time .because it was such a nice , flat ,sunny day ….. there was rec boat just going by . & the guy heard him yell . The CC sent their 75 footer & llocated the boat , upside down on the bottom … he,s hoping the wind holds off because hes going to try and salvage it ..&&&& like so many of the small boat fleet ……..nothing was insured ……….. back in the day of wooden skiffs , 50% of them at least insured the motor ><>< waiting to see if they are going to have a fundraiser ><><
