Plug Builders Saturdays

While scrolling through InstaGram I was reading that the Saltwaters Edge is holding Plug Builders Saturdays. Two Saturdays in March, the 13rd and the 27th. Selected builders were invited to bring their goods and sell them to the public. A bunch of our now from here will be there. It seems you have to get a number to enter the store (a lottery) as they will be following all state guide lines for COVID. Eskimo (Frank), Blond Terror (Chris Grooves), Dave Anderson, Googoo Man....and a bunch of other builders. Just thought I'd share the info for those not on IG. I did look at their FB page and don't see it posted there.

With all the shows being canc. it is nice to see some people stepping up to help them make up some of the shortfall they are going to have this year. One of the larger FB fishing sites is planning a virtual show with the builders all selling their plugs on what would have been the date of one of the larger shows.

Good point!

Not many shows happening, and then mostly club level. Narragansett Surf has something coming up for example.

he sells them for sellers and gets a percentage of the sale. That way the seller stays out of the light. Good way of flipping stuff without actually getting caught.

Totally insane what has happened with custom plug builders. So much beautiful stuff out there. They should all serial number them and make it a requirement they are fished, lol. Then do a smaller run for collectors?
