Cost of fish Hilton Head SC

You’ll all find this crazy. I was going to do a fish fry down here. fluke is 22.00 a pound and black sea bass is 23.00 and BFT 27.00 and whiting is 8.99. the world is upside down here. Might have to go cheap and do Cod

Go down to your local supermarket or fish market. All the prices per pound there just shock me
1 pound of shelled lobsta meat was $64 a pound
Sure makes pulling rec traps fun and a bargain

There is only a handful of times I bought fish rather than catch or be given fresh fish. I really don’t know how the average Joe affords fish.

Then again one supermarket has $19 a pound serloin strips. Also crazy.

A
Jar of skippy jelly and a loaf of bread looks good ha.

If I could find a place to catch them I would . But unless your chartering down here or have your own boat . Your choices are limited.. found cod 6.99 going with that!

I will buy salmon, but otherwise I’m eat fish I’ve caught and usually vacuumed sealed, other than a filet of fresh caught the day of.
