i looked it up, you push a button and an air bladder in the trap fills so that trap floats to the surface. a guy with 800 traps needs to convert to that?

Is dragging for them legal in Maine

I worked on a dragger in the bay [ when we use to have lobsters] in the bay ....he targeted them & did very well .

When the started to go to hell .. he downsized his dragger

a couple of years later he told be / they won,t be back /next I know he sold the boat to a sponge diver in Maine & he found someone local to buy all his traps /

He,s 84 & hes gone full circle .back to shellfishing only & being a senior .his license is free .OH he sold the M/P one he had for years .......stay ahead of the curve ......... they should think about what it will cost to invest in floats ... its not going to get better ,

ENJOY WHAT YOU HAVE !!!
