Fish

I went fishing today. East wind, dirty water, didn't expect much.
It was bonkers. Thousands of birds. Acres of bait. Stripers airborne.
Tough going with all the red weed, had to clean after every cast.
Lost count of total fish. But did take down a 32" and a 40" on my little 7 foot schoolie rod and 1 oz leadhead, skirt and curlytail. Most fish were 26" and very fat. Sigh... will sleep well tonight.

I got a good local report from Doc, which has me excited for tomorrow!

Not going to waste time traveling to look for macs. Just check one or two spots that are on the way to where I think they will be and get ch#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&' some plugs and rubber!

Same spot this morning right at high tide. Very dirty water. I was on my way to leaving the beach and fish came up after peanut bunker, pretty big fish. Figured I'd get one cast and then spend 5 minutes cleaning the red weed off the line. Saw some breaks, cast the lead head as hard as I could just beyond the weed line. Two cranks and off the drag goes. Another 40 inch fish. By time I got her in and back in the water and cleaned the line off, they were gone. That was it. Pretty lucky. Still tons of bait around. Then I washed the truck and hit a bucket of balls. Need some lunch .
