Offshore Wind on Cronicle Channel 5 tonight 7:30 9/21/23

Just saw the preview on the 5:30 news. Will be worth watching/recording. 7:30 tonight. I learned a lot from the preview....

All the projects seem to require made in the USA such as the blades, towers, transport ships and American flagged ships with American crews. I can get behind that. What I am not sure of is how exactly the build out will change my immediate harbor area. And I have no idea how they plan to be tr#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&g in materials to that site through Salem.... (But they did get the power plant built next door, so....)

Ray, it can't be said enough how massive this stuff is until you see for yourself..

I took those pictures this morning in New Bedford harbah….
Close enough to put graffiti on the ships… LOL

I regret not takin pics of the blades on the racks,,, so large it almost doesn’t look real….

We seen the field under construction fairly close with Chris on a BF trip…. freaken scary big…..

what’s even harder to fathom is the cost,,, !!! but happy to hear most is American made….

On the show someone said each blade would go from the end of one football endzone to the other...

That support ship in Guppy’s pic is Portugal flagged. As are other United Heavylift ships.
