Awesome day with Capt Wayne

Tony spends most days at the pond behind his house, “ gramps I want to catch something big”

Was a great day fishing with you and the family.. I am glad we figured out how the bass wanted their dinner in that sea of bait

That’s great
He looks surprised he caught so large compared to the pond

Wayne would like to hear the story of what they did and didn’t want with allot of choices around

Sure here it is. Please Excuse grammar or punctuation .

Most people I saw that day and the day before hanging right on top of the pogies live lining them .

I sunk ours with 6 oz and 1 crank up. And I used my trolling motor to slow troll them between every one else who was just drifting with the Tide in the opposite direction of the school.

Never marked big packs of bass but could see a few mixed in the bottom of the pogies . And we seem to hook up shortly after that. The day prior was a comm day and didn’t mark any bass under the pogies and never had a hit

Just for context. We were in 40ft of water and the pogies in most cases occupied from 5 ft to 35 ft and 50 yards wide and 50 yards long

Saw no surface blitzing
