Wind wind wind.

Luckily I got out on the 1st push of bass. But the winds and the bite has died. And the price of fuel has forced me to be more strategic on where and when I go.

Any intel would be appreciated

I hear you on both counts. Windy seems to be our new norm and I have blown off two trips to westport, deciding a half a tank of Trump gas or keep getting some plantings done, was an easy decision. Did get out once in upper Buzzards Bay for sea bass Tuesday in spite of the wind, but marked nothing, got no bites and decided 57 degee water meant it wasn’t worth hanging long.

Yuck
snuck out early 5am hoping to avoid the wind they were say 5-10 Nw than increasing out of the west.

Nope. was blowing west all of 10-15. dead no bait marking nothing.

I am guessing the only bass are west passage? or out front. so unless a big push of pogies happen in a week. this spring will be a bust

the only thing that might save it is the cooler temps. keeping the bay cooler
