Heady Woes
Old news but don't know if anyone has seen this, the brewery is ceasing their on-premises distribution for the foreseeable future due to unexplained legal issues. They are still distributing to local shops (presumably in higher quantities now) but this is a really unfortunate development.

Business as usual seemed to not work. This will mean that they will have to change something. I can only fantasize that this could be the impetus for a brewery expansion that could lead to their beer being available in my neck of the woods. So in this case, I selfishly admit that I hope they make the best out of this situation. Bring out the barrels!!

Just get your butt up to VT. Call up a couple of retailers and find out when they get deliveries or better yet, call the Alchemist to find out when they deliver. From the one time I went there looking, Hunger Mountain Co-op is a good bet. Happy hunting.

heading up to VT next week, going to Sugarbush, anybody know places in the Warren, Vt area that will have this, never tried it, want to see if the hype is true!

This shop has it, but it goes fast, they sell Lawson's too. A double sunshine IPA is a fine consolation prize. Pop into the Hyde Away for a little apres chicken wing and ask if they have Heady, once in a while they do.

as an update, I found it at a bar near sugarbush.. none in the couple of stores i went to.
