				Shop vac upgrade

Built this very same design maybe seven years ago. One of the very best upgrades around the shop I have and use regularly!

Add a remote vac switch, keep button fastened to your work belt ...
Works great on remod jobs, leave the hose out kicking around and the vac in another room,,, heavenly

I got one of these for my dust collector and it's way more efficient and I don't go thru those expensive festool bags anymore.
https://www.toolnut.com/oneida-axd00...SABEgJnY_D_BwE
same idea but more money I'm sure

I put a clear bag in it and easy to empty

Ross, the good thing about those is your filter won't clog as fast and most of the mess will dump right out of the bucket

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.

Bruce, I use this for general clean up in shop and try to save the Festool vac for when I am using the Festools attached to it. Haven't had to empty or clean filter in shop vac since I put the Dust Deputy in front of it. I should get one of those long heavy duty hoses though.

Interesting. I have to vacuum up naaaaaasty glass dust all the time and might try this. Thing is I don’t have the time to build something like this. Maybe in a few months.
