I've Got The Blues
Man the blues were on fire this morning, from just outside of Scituate Harbor, all the way down past Minot Light. I only had a short 4 hours to fish, but loaded up on about 30 big blues. About half on poppers and half on my plastics. Everywhere you looked there were birds working and blues busting on top. The other reason I have the Blues, is that they are surely gathering for their move south and the stripers will be doing the same shortly. Good news no doubt for you Rhode Island and NY boys, because the action will be heating up down your way if it hasn't already.
I'm bummed I can't get out this weekend, but I've been putting off my preparations for next week's trip to Maine for way too long. I've just got to put the fishing aside and get it done. Hopefully some of you can go get a few for me, tight lines.
