Talking Swam Some Protos Today

Made these up yesterday and took them for a swim today. Jointed surfsters...smaller than the "Green Death" jointed I posted the other day. Two have traditional surfster bodies with small danny lips....one is weighted and one is not. The two others have a fatter profile identical to the "Green Death" plug....and they have surfster lips, one is weighted and one is not. They all swam pretty awesome....slithering like an eel in the water.....not too much variation one from another......I was happy and will be making a nice stash for the upcoming season. These are approx. 5 1/4 inches long.

Felt great casting today....I was of course hopeful that a holdover might take one of them! Didn't happen though....can't wait to see these catch this season! They will hammer fish!

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

Thanks Mike...glad you like the "Fat-Boy" pencil....they catch! They cast pretty good for their size but, man...wait till you see how they work in the water! Good luck...if you use it!

Smile Tempted not to use it

But its calling me to toss it into the salt....

to say again in a different way: I`ve collected a lot of the modern builders and to my eye your work is among the best.

Thanks for building!

Mike, you flatter the heck out of me.......you master plug ho! In all seriousness, the bar here has been set very high, and being a real perfectionist....I got alot to live up to. I see what some of these guys do and I am so impressed that I just want to be building plugs as good as they do. They just keep raising the bar.

Thanks for the comp just the same, its nice to hear.
