SoCo Freshwater?
Are there any well known ponds in the soco area that get stocked. I need to fish real bad. Not looking for your secret little pond that are full of 20"+ rainbows just a pond that I can stand shoulder to shoulder with and maybe get a few. PM's are welcome thanks for the help.

The 2007 trout and general freshwater fishing season will begin at 6:00 AM Saturday, April 7, 2007.

when you buy your liscence, you will be givin a list of stocked trout waters.

Haha whoops goes to show how much I know about freshwater in RI. Thought I heard opening day was April 1st. Well anyways question is still relevant.

Thanks Nebe, didn't know that. I gotta remember to get my RI freshwater license. I woulda forgot because I already got my mass one this year.

Nevermind RI if you have your mass license go to Wachusett Reservoir. You can fish the rivers flowing into it right now, and the Res beginning April 7th. That's where you want to be.

FYI - Trout season in Rhody doesn't start until Saturday April 14th!
You can fish in non trout waters now.

Traout season starts at 6am on the second saturday in April. This year it's april 14. I'm gonna miss it! Going to FL on business.
