NWC of Stellwagon Sunday 8/5

[Fish On]

Trolled the NWC all day with Tynan19 and Starfish. Saw no tuna and had no hits (other than a good sized striper). Lots of whales (mostly humpback I think) and birds and small bait (looked like maybe sand eels).

The whale show was pretty good. I’ll try to post a couple pics. For those that don’t see this everyday it really is pretty neat.

Tried to salvage the day with some ground fishing. Caught 1 haddock and 84 @#!$^%&$# dogfish.

Will try another spot next weekend.

Sidenote: Starfish knows her way around a boat and can fish!

most of those out there now are finbacks the smaler ones are minky whales

Saw some small but most were very large. Are you still a boat whore?
