				IE Question

Mrs. Crafty's computer has become incredibly slo-o-o-o-ow to load Explorer - I cleared cookies and temp files and have pretty much exceeded my limited expertise
I had a tenant move out who was picking up our wireless signal for his internet connection - this coincides with the recent problems. Is there a cause and effect here? We have three computers networked here in the office.

Anyone have any ideas?

If that's the only system having an issue and the other ones are not, have you tried running Ad-Aware and CCleaner?
MSIE's slowness might be caused by adware. If the overall system is slow, CCleaner (stands for "crap cleaner" :-) will help.

Thanks, Kenyee, I ran Spybot which didn't seem to help. One of my other computers on the network is opening IE a little slower than normal but not much.

Is Ad-Aware that much different than Spybot?

Can I find downloads for CCleaner on The Google?

I've never used spybot, so I have no idea. I have recommended ad-aware to people who've complained MSIE is slow and it's cleaned it up.
ccleaner is here: http://www.ccleaner.com/
And FWIW, I haven't had to do a full system reinstall of Windows for over 10yrs. I'm just OCD on keeping it clean :-)

Thanks again, K - we're pretty good about system maintainance, but I'm gonna check out the link.

Just got a Spybot message on her computer, it said Spybot has detected an important registry entry that has been changed in the system startup user entry category. It was auto rebooting at the time.

Still have the warning message hanging on the screen, don't want to either allow or deny the change until I can figure out what the #$**# is going on.
