My thyroid comes in a bottle after nuking it about 17 years ago to control Graves......my endocrin Dr said I got the 2nd highest does he had ever given (maybe 40 years of practice) to a patient. For anyone that understands, I received 5 x 15 mCi 131I. He did incremental doses hoping each one would be sufficient, it wasn't.

How much? I'm working on 8 cords. All down. B#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&g into 4 footers and hauling to my woodlot.

Probably 2X that easy. Split a couple cords back in Dec., got another 4-5 split stacked (Jan and this weekend), and then there is the rest. Pictures attached. I stood a 5.5' rake for scale in the stacks. The logs you can see the length of the pile by the number of 8' fence sections. 100% oak.

Beautiful day in the neighborhood - just walked the dog and granddaughter around Olney Pond in Lincoln Woods, where a few people were fishing open water.

This weather sure makes my outlook on life a hell of a lot rosey-er. Spring is real close. Got bulbs up a couple inches, saw a buzzard above the house today and could smell the skunks at nite on my drive home last week, birds woke me up this morning, and saw all kinds of insects out today as I sat outside and daughter wants to play out side after school instead of doing homework Soon real soon.

Smelled the skunks last week and several flocks of fantailed grackles today....time to get out the SPF 30 sun block as you can get sunburned...want proof? If this weather keeps up the peepers will be a peepin'.

I "escaped" for a little while today, but had to go back into the dungeon.
The golden finches are starting to brighten up just a little from their winter grey/green hue. Oh, and yeah the grackles are back in force.
Next will be the starlings.
