Hit the cape today and found some fishies. I got 37 and my 1st keeper of the year at 28 1/2" had another that was around 24", most between 10 and 20", BC got his load with 21, couple other people were there also, and picking up a few here and there. All I can say is Queen Coccaho's and teasers RULE BABY!!!!!

Good for you guys, you've had a long winter and were long since due. I spent Saturday cleaning the cellar, this morning I finished a 9 foot Lami 1M I picked up from Steve at the plug party and this afternoon finally getting the boat cleaned up and electronics all checked out. Everythings working again, except for the VHF, which I didn't like anyway. Birthdays coming on the 18th, so I'm putting in for a new one. What's good, bad or ok out there. Anyone have any experience iwth the Raymarine 45, waterproof and only $150 in Cabelas, or the Icom IC-M402 a bit more at $169.99.

no one seams to be all that concerned about the oil spill in buz bay i would have thought that that would have produced a rather large thread of concerned fisherpersons by now. glad to see other wise. so if your not that concerned then please tell me i can plan i trip to the general area of buz bay willing to look from south cape beach to watch hill. will be surf castering with wife and new born son so hiking is out but not the drive the drive i'll do but in need of a short walk from the truck so to all that have knowlage and are willing to share FEEL FREE TO DO SOOOOOO

Hye Marty, we hit some places on the south side of the cape yesterday, one place which has easy access is Shell Point in Onset. Big parking lot and plenty of room to work the water. If you want more info just PM me and I will give you some tips.

I have yet to come across any of the oil on the beaches. But we have been looking at places and we are very concerned what it will do. But if its clean water and the fish are there ya just gotta go get um!!! It's been too long of a winter for me!!!

went to south cape beach today and there was no sign of oil and all looked clean but the ride over the bourne i saw what looked like oil soaked rocks on either side

Fisherwoman, I was out there this morning and I
got four smalls, about 10-12 inches on silver Kastmasters.
Not great but it felt damn good to have a tight line.

Hey Bigfish, glad you finally hooked up, it was better there late in the day as told from another guy, we hit serveral spots yesterday on the south side, not as productive as the Suday before but we managed about 30 fish yesterday. But was picky to say the least.

I am still not seeing alot of bait anywhere and I am not talking herring more silversides and sand eels but they will show soon.

Went looking for some chompers, but left a little early to go try fro some more striped ones. SO don't know if they are there yet, but should be any day now. Have a trip tomorrow and Sat so I will let ya know whats out there!!!!

Bigfish, Is your other half going to join us for womens day?????
