When is the primetime to fish fr cod. What month?

for stellwagen area - april, may, june is excellent. july,aug,sept,oct bite is still good but the fish are a little deeper. was out a week ago and got into a nice bite of cod/haddock
|
my 1st wife didn't like me fishing so much

There are lots of dogs out there now. I went three weeks ago and got plenty of cod and haddock with no dogs. Last week to the same spots produced 4 dogs for every cod.

we've been filling the boat every trip.
We do stick it out, untill the boat is full however 
nows a Good time to shark fish while codding. |

The you want dogfish! That is the primary fish used in the UK for fish&chips! Saw miles of finning doggies last Thursday just outside GH. |

Best month for cod fishing
May, fish are in shallow depths and schooled up and weather is getting good compared to feb - april
