snake heads nasty little bastards ,they will destroy an ecosystem in a very short period,read up on them they have been seen here,but have not survived.

and because they breathe air out of water
are easily shipped LIVE and arrive still alive
to be released by more "we want them here" idiots
who consider them a delicacy

They are good to eat but are starting to expand their territory. Because they live in the same tributaries where the largest striper beeding grounds are we really do not know how devastating of an effect on the ecosystem we could be in for. Hence the forward action.

Watched a show about invasive species on these fish, bad news. They showed quite a bit on them and how they destroy everything where ever they are. One scene a large pond close to many other rivers/waterways was over run with them. They poisoned the entire pond, killed everything. Figured it would be better to reintroduce native population in a few years after the poison wears off. Another one, customs found quite a few being imported they followed them to an Asian market in CA , busted them ,owner got big fines.. These things are nasty and can live through anything it seems.
