Anyone been out of Ryders this year?? How is the cut this year?? It is always changing and sometimes it is hairy trying to get thur there! I am planing to go to Chatam for some fishing and was just wondering!!

it's been fine,,,,fog been a pain this summer,,,but over all no problem getting out.....or back.

Thanks Cape! I will be there in the AM. This is my first time out there this year. I use to fish out there all the time , then I found the Vinyard!!
But I still like to go there in the fall!

last time I went, it didn't matter what time is was, fish were biten all day..

NE for chatam tomorrow?? I an going to the Vinyard instead!! It will be a little better there. I will have to try to get there (Chatam) next week instead .

and CS,it is a stretchy place to fish there, eh? that's right, joe, low is good for wading. DONT FISH ON THE SOUTH BEACH (HABA SEALS!). i tried there once. flyrodders have done well there. you could try sluggos. hey joe, there is a bonus out there if u aint catching no fish, clamming is good there. u cld smell it while crusining it. i saw some people take HUGE QUAHOGS! good for quahog stuffing for thanksgiving.

i only fished there once with a friend of mine. he caught a 25 in. striper on a fly.

at the inlet heading down to the rip at the point is where i toss yeller tatto darters if I aint on the other side.
its one of a few places I toss darters

Did you hear anything about a boat flippin' there, inlet, Saturday early AM? I know that's when you were havin yer "fun" trip, but it was wild Sat in the surf, blothru near #8 at high tide on da beach, ran right into the bay, and water right up into the high grass...hurricane leftovers.
Anyhoo, one of my regulars told me his bud flipped his boat, 20 foot Mako, and sunk it Sat AM, was wondering if it was true, or one of them "whisky" tales...

yep it happened...

no surprise with the size of the surf
prolly got sucked up into some breakers and ate it

a 20 foot mako in that stuff would have been as good as a toy

2 more beasts on the way... watch out this coming weekend... henri leftovers are comin

and who knows if isabela is gonna hit us or not...
hoping for it though

haven't heard a thing,,,have my head stuck in work ta pay fa water an car........with all the boats that come an go outta there it's a wonder more don't take a dive,,,,half don't even know how to run a boat never mind watch for pop-ups...........funny last time I got to go out, I was being chased by this 24-26 ft. gwhite with twin 225's,,,or 50's,,,,blew by me thinking outta my way you little chitt...well the channel took a hard right ,,he didn't

went right up onta the flat.....I went by with a big smile an kept on goin.

I'd have idiots in walkarounds/CC's try to follow me through the Woods Hole/Naushon boulders while I was in a 12 foot R I B.

Atleast they got to test out their kickers....
