Boat capsized

Reported on the local news: Boat capsized, people in water / on islands / rocks off Little Compton. Sounds like fishers

Hope they make out OK.

IT CAN ROLL BIG ON SOME OF THE SUBMERGED STRUCTURE OUT THERE. EVEN A LONE WAVE ON A NICE DAY CAN CREEP UP BEHIND YOU IF YOU ARE IN THE WRONG SPOT. I THINK IT WAS CHARLIE SOARES WHO WROTE ABOUT BEING OUT THERE WITH BUDDY IN ANOTHER BOAT WHO DID NOT MAKE IT BACK.

I LOVE it when MY WIFE lets me fish

I hope they are OK.

Every time I hear about a small boat going down, I re-live my experience on July 26th, 2008. Luckily, I was alone and just had to worry about myself.

The thoughts make me sick to my stomach.

Be safe, even the calmest days can become a nightmare in a heartbeat.

1 @ 32 Pledge. Our beloved Striped Bass are in trouble AGAIN.

I fished through the lean years and don't want to live through another collapse of the stock.

2 fish @ 28" is ridiculous.

You're right. I remember reading about that in OTW not too long ago.

Conservatism is not about leaving people behind. Conservatism is about empowering people to catch up, to give them tools at their disposal that make it possible for them to access all the hope, all the promise, all the opportunity that America offers. - Marco Rubio

Recently, at low tide I saw the remnants of an old outboard motor in the rocks in the vicinity of your misadventure . . . just suspecting it may have come from your boat.

2004 Yamaha 200 hp, 4-stroke. I bet she had a bit of growth on her.

That was a very bad time in my life. Thankfully, I have learned a lot about living without substance abuse.

2105 days sober!
