I injured my back on the jobsite yesterday, so would have been out even with FAC forecasts... Sucks. Can't shore fish, sleep, do anything.... went stir crazy yesterday. OD'd on college football. Watered the leaves on the front lawn, twice, for activity. Chiropractor knew I was in trouble when he saw me at his house at 0830. Very thankful he was home and took me.

What a beautiful day on the water today. The tides were the weakest I've seen all year (3 ft at 8 hours long) so the bite wasn't great but we put in some work and got our limit. Hopefully we can catch a break for next Sunday. The tides should be better water colder and fish ready to eat.

I am scouting mid-week!

I am going squidding tonight and togging tomorrow .

Have a tuna trip planned for mid week... east, if the forecast holds. There are a couple guys on island that are still canyon fishing..they say it when the weather holds it is great (but they have the boat for it)

Tides were real weak buzzy so the bite wasn't the best so i had to really move around to some of my off the beaten path honey holes and got our limit. I think with the new moon tides coming next weekend and water temps dropping. the fish should be ready to eat.

Goose and I are probably heading out Saturday instead of Sunday, looks to be a little more forgiving on the wind/wave forecast.

It is a shame this got fizzled out by weather.Saturday the swell was treacherous and the water looked like coffee. The bite was affected accordingly. The fat lady is starting to hum but this week holds some opportunity. Wednesday looks good, if anybody wants in give me a shout.
