Weekend report -the walk of shame
took the walk of shame about 5 times Sunday am. I fished from 1:30am until @ 6:30am.
I went to 5 spots....carps bar, deep hole, narrow, bpoint, Pt J.
NOTHING.....not one hit. I did not see anyone catch fish.
I saw some guys catch a few blues at stinky's around 7am while I was scouting around.
It was a long lonely walk to my car every time.
Even if you caught fish...please don't tell, I don't want to know....

Good to hear someone did ok.. I'll be somewhere tommorow morning, though the surf may be huge.. so I may be hiding "inside" somewhere...

Fished Fri night. Nothing for the first 2 hours - (last of the incoming) then moved to another spot for the outgoing, and everyone was catching. Also ran into Krispy. Hi Krispy

2 of us spent about 6 hrs paddling Quonny Sat morning. Lots of bait around until the wind picked up. Only 3 takers on the TnW, the biggest at 30".

Sounds like this walk of shame needs a parade permit.

I'll add my name to the skunk list; struck out at Plum Island and
Cape Ann on Friday, Hull and Scituate on Saturday!

Fished Fri night from a (please forgive me) boat. As soon as the tide turned had hits or fish on every drift. No @#^%#& bluefish either. Saw many boats in the same area, but they all left after one drift Finally after 6x10ee23 trips either in the surf or by boat I get some fish. Got back to the ramp and ran into a bunch of guys who cried when they saw a bass after a night of blues............
BTW I learned from some very good teachers!!!!!

At least you got those, that skunk stayed with me all weekend and made funny art pictures all over me.
Heading down to Ptown tomorrow to take the 28' whaler out.
Hopefully snapping jigs for the next two days will do the trick.
Later,
Senor Sonrio

At the Race 12:30 am till 9:00 have the stench of skunk and dead whale on me. Saw lots of dead dogs, was at least spared that. I'll grit my teeth and go back again this weekend if'n the ' cane don't get me. I think a little surf might be the answer. A little surf...

I actually did okay on Saturday. Nothing large but not too bad. This afternoon and evening though, got a fat skunk! Not even a hit or nibble! Two of us on my boat, fishing Mack chunks, plugs, soft plastics, whatever we could get our hands on. Nothing!

This thread is proof that misery loves company. You guys made me feel much better.
I'll be away this weekend so won't get to fish. Hopefully things will pick up again after Isabel.......
I need a fish bad.
