I was really hoping Silva was going to kick that dudes head off. But instead he almost kicked his own foot off. Gruesome! Watched it last night at my friends house, couldnt believe it, my buddie almost vomited when it happened he had to leave the room lol

Weidman's a tough dude, he proved that he's no joke and his first win against Silva was kinda justified last nite as he damn near knocked him out in the first round. Take nothing away from Silva, he has some of the nastiest knees and elbows in the game, just hate to see that happen, as he'll probably never fight competitively again. Not sure Weidman will sit on the throne long though, as his next fight with Vitor Belfort should prove to be an epic battle, and probably one of the toughest fights of his career.

I saw it happen but could not watch any super slow replays. That dude was screaming like a bitch which is not too cool for a tough guy.He was great but at 38 he should hang them up.

I don't like Silva, never have. Great talent but too cocky for my liking. Glad he lost but would have rather seen him get his head beat in than that and most likely like Chris said he's done as I hear he was contemplating retirement after the fight anyway.
