Thanks, i have a 100 bucks worth of gift cards sitting next to me. Checking out at beans right now, Helix 2's on the way, time to replace the rapid rivers. 5 years of good use, but last year at block really kicked their arse.

The wader selection is getting minimal compared to days past when they had Simms. When it is time to replace my Simms the Helix will do.
If I wasn't already a Bean customer I would research other retailers that have a better selection and similar warranty.

I also bought a pair of waders, I don't believe in turning in a pair of very used waders for warranty, I feel I got good use out of them and they served there purpose well. I paid 77 dollars with the sale and a gift card

I agree Bob. I did the same thing last year. Paid $80 for featherlites 5 years ago and beat the crap out of them They don't leak....yet. I didn't want to take a chance so I bought a new pair last year. There really wasn't any reason to send the old ones back.

They are doing alot to reduce abuse, currently it's 20 pct of revenue, they are tracking individuals, you have to give your id to return now. They've caught people buying LL Bean stuff at the Goodwill and returning them. Last week they nailed someone shoplifting in Burlington and returning the stuff in Mansfield

Exchanged waders at bean Sunday. Second pair that the stitching let go at the socks. No questions asked. Just handed me a new pair and off I went.

Anything that lasts over a year from them gets replaced by my wallet. I have yet to run into a pair of waders that have met that expectation. I have a bunch of other stuff that they make that has damn near lasted me my lifetime.

I cant help but wonder what beans cost is on a 300 dollar pair of waders. Coming from our friends in China. 50 bucks at the most i would say.

Same problem with the new Kennebecs... Stocking feet literally came off. Keeping a pair, but as a backup. Got a pair of Patagucci's that I'm looking forward to trying this year.
