your fairly close to the coast although North of me
might have been a toad... wood toads they are almost black....
and emerge first as the wood piles warm up

my grounds are still frozen thus far.... no worms yet

No peepers here yet, but theres all sorts of Green plant stuff popping up out of the ground.

Should be seeing the skunk cabbage pushing up in the wetlands.

Peepers should be out in increasing numbers as the weather continues to act like spring!

I finally heard them April 1st. Woo hoo, it won't be long before our buddy's show up.
And then it'll be arseholes and elbows untill it tappers off.

Live bait sharp hooks and timing is all you need

saw my first swallow today while freshwater fishing. Also a pair of feeding wood ducks.
