Haddock trip Saturday
Gonna hit up one of the northern partyboats on Saturday if anyone is interested. Seems like a decent biomass of fish up there. Not huge fish but decent numbers

I'm heading out on Friday. Check Eastman's web page for accurate reports but yes, it's supposed to have been good fishing the last couple weeks...Good luck and stay dry. Saturday is looking to be wet...

I hope to get out on the Bunny Clark this season. Never been on that iconic fish catcher...

Report from yesterday
on eastmans
Actually, I guess fishing was pretty good, as was the catching, but the keeping not so great. I kept 3 haddock, throwing back at least 10 times that amount. I had 5 double header shorts. With a 19" limit I would have kept 15-20 fish. Most were between 19 and 20 ". A few cod were kept, but not many. I caught 5 or 6 short cod. Puny ones.
And it was a full boat. At least 50 people. And it was rough. At least a half dozen hurlers.

Tons of shorts...but I still took the pool for biggest cod. I would hold off if you think it will be like today. Great crew and boat. Fishing was tough though.
