Our new boat

17' 1999 Smokercraft Salmon, 85hp Suzuki 2c, trailer (all bought new in 2000)

My wife and I will pick up our new-to-us boat this weekend. It was a tough choice with soo many great fall deals out there. We almost went new but saved a bundle used.

This means that next year I'll be discussing much more fishing and much less politics.

Special thanks go to my wife for putting up with my indecision which ranged from bassboats to center consoles to cuddys.

I think Smokercraft renamed the Salmon to the Stealth. Here is what a new one looks like from a better angle.

Nice boat, easy to trailer and she'll fly with the 85 hp. Good Luck.

Van, I saw that fish. Very nice!

Fishsmith, I agree, it should fly with an 85. I was surprised to see that it maxed out with a 125
