Simms Boots

Sierra Trading Post currently has Simms Freestone boots marked down to $84 in common sizes and felt sole marked down to $69. Not the lightest boot but last much longer than any Korker boot I've owned. Also these boots hold grip studs without any issues.

Their site also has Patagonia boots in common sizes marked down and you can add a 30% off coupon.

Not bad

I just googled it and it worked fine.
30% "EMY14" (only works with the patagonia boots)
$2.95 flat rate shipping "SWG14"

I've actually never tried them in the felt although I've heard they hold better? I've had them in the vibram sole from Simms for two seasons (lots of trips) and the only studs that came out of the boot I took out.

The only time i've had the grip studs come out is when i've screwed them in too close the edge of the sole - but that's a bonehead move.

I've been using WearBars in felt for 6 years and have never had an issue with them coming out. I have had a couple turn sideways however.

No boat, back in the suds.

I have a pair with felt, and wearbars that have worked awesome but more and more freshwater fishing has them banned. I don't really need them now, but it is a good deal and I can see myself up at the salmon river in April this year where I believe they are required.

I think the rubber or Simms Vibram sole holds them just fine.
