Cold weather is coming

And the Alaskan crab boats are out hauling gear right now...... Puts it in better perspective now than when we see the footage in April and May. I don't think I would have gotten through that in the best days of my youth.... Much respect for those guys.

Funny i was thinking about those guys tonight at work when i was outside on the fork truck. I was wondering how cold it would be on one of the boats as the wind was howling. 39 degrees in Dutch Harbor AK right now, feels like a balmy 30. Comparing the 10 day forecast i would rather be up there. Warmer every day.

Everything is better on the rocks.

yesterday while shoveling it was +3 at 1pm and wind gusts coming off the west end of Rangeley lake 40+.This morning it was -8 and calm.23 deer bedded down under the balsams in the yard. The main part of the lake is still wide open.Folks on the eastern shore of Mooselookmeguntic lake had lots of trees knocked down with roof damage and power down. The cold isn't that bad it's the friggin wind!
