An Important Step Forward for Cannabis Legalization
Today Senators Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY), Cory Booker (D-NJ), and Rand Paul (R-KY) are introducing a bi-partisan bill
called “The Compassionate Access, Research Expansion, and Respect States (CARERS) Act."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
throw Nixon's FALSE garbage classification(sched 3) into the toilet
where it belongs!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Key Points Covered in the Bill:
- Recognizing States' Rights in Cannabis Regulation
- Making Cannabis a Schedule II Drug
-Allowing Government Funds To Be Spent on Research
- Removing CBD Oil from the Controlled Substances Act
- Clearing the Way for Vets to Use Medical Cannabis
- Dissolving Key Federal Issues for Cannabis Banking

removing oil from the controlled substance act is HUGE
I wish more people had access to it

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.
1984 was a warning, not a guidebook!
It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.

Wow,
Sounds like most of you guys work in a profession that doesn't require any drug testing. I have to pee in the cup multiple times of year. Guess I don't have to worry about you talking my job.

the substance in the non thc oil
Charlotte web oil (some call it)
is the same substance in a human brain
which is "why" it's so effective
it literally is what creates connectivity or communication
between neurons ...so it shuts off "spasmodic haywire" response.

I work in a drug tested position as well......don't see why people can't enjoy life the way they want.
...IMHO I feel Alcohol is far more destructive than weed.
I've seen quite a few people turn into raving A-holes when drinking....never seen a stoned guy try and take on a whole bar before. Take on a whole pizza before, absolutely, just not a whole bar

I totally agree with you there. I'm still not sure I want my surgeon or airline pilot being a regular user . And having a young daughter and watching her go through the dating scene I have found most of the losers she dates also are regular pot smokers. Coincidence maybe , but most 30-year-olds that don't own a car yet , also like their weed .

My guess is weed has prevented more fights than caused them. Selfishly, I would not want my surgeon or pilot to be ANY type of substance abuser...however in most cases, balance and good decision making are likely to result in ambitious youth. I am actually shocked to hear Buckmans daughter does not have an arranged marriage....JK

I think some people would be astounded to learn how many fully functioning adults are also regular pot smokers.

No doubt . I have some friends that are incredibly productive and I can honestly say I've never seen them when they weren't high .

The real danger with legalizing weed is the non smokers who will rush out to try it and not know what to expect.

the noobs who eat it are more of a worry because it's
a whole different experience when ingested and they are
putting it in very easy to consume delectable delights making
over indulgence highly probable. That's like trying to start out
a just turned 21 year old on Tequila shots
when all they really want is a dark beer.

Very true and it doesn't hit you for quite a while when you're eating it .
I heard Ben & Jerry's is talking about making an ice cream with it .

I hear what your saying TDF. I work on ships and over the years have seen a number of people have to fly home due to popping positive on a random test. Many times this was because someone enjoyed themself the month before when not even working onboard at the time, but still in your system. Unfortunately when you job is at stake it is a whole different thing. As you know it is not just weed, but every other thing they test for too. That is why I guess lots opt for the drugs that don't stay in your system as long.
On the ship we don't refer to these as random drug tests. It is a test in stupidity. Your judgement isn't too good if your willing to sacrifice your livelyhood for at least a year before the Coast Guard gives you your papers back.
