I can't keep it in anymore.
Know of several last week.
Was throwing back 30# to 40# fish like they were schoolies friday and saturday nights. Hooked up on almost every single cast. I only caught about 5 fish that were under 30#, all over 20#. Took home 38# and 39# fish friday night. They were all big fish piled up and feeding hard. Most amazing 2 nights of fishing I have YET to ever have. My hands still look like I put them in a meat grinder. Its that good hurt though. But just like that, they were gone Sunday.eessed:

I'm guessing I was where Redlite was, because I had the same experience last weekend and everyone I talked to did as well.

For example, saw a guy get a 42" fish....on a FLY ROD. That is no joke.

Then Sunday nothing.

Good times.

My spot was not private, but results were the same.

My buddy Geoff just cought a 47 punder on Aquidneck Island Yesturday with a black needlefish. At 530pm it was just his second cast he hooked into it.
Iced it down and brought it into Ed's next morning.
His first 40+. And to top it off the Redsox beat the evil empire later on that night. Sometimes life just doesn't get any better.

Never enough gear.

Gill and I did a little winta scoutin and it paid off! Couldn't keep an eel down last night best fish where in the mid 30"s until I resorted to chunksTo make a long story short...I was fishin a area I had only fished once before(skunked) and was difficult to land fish. I got help from waves as I brought her to a safe rock, as I grabed the leader and pulled it towards me the freakin leader snaps, I jumped water(turned out to be waste high, thank God)..I love palm burn ......down fall is 39#. long and lean. I just can't seem to get bass with big #'s. I'm not b%&*tchin

See what the moon did to my eyes
