So anyone fishing for S-B this weekend and needs to get in touch - 617-512-2541. If you get Basss or Blues to weigh in, they need to go to Weekapaug B&T and enter them under the Team Striped-Bass page (yeh, even you Habs guys )
Good luck to everyone - be safe & have some fun!

I'm thinking about kayaking to a spot, getting out, then fishing from the surf. If, by some miracle, I get into some large fish, would they question why I had a kayak w/me when I register the fish?

tough call. i'm not the chairman of the tournament and i don't think this situation/issue has ever come up. it may be best to contact jim mckeough, as he is the tourmanent organizer. but, as long as you are within the range for fish from and on ground while fishing it may be ok.

I'm snagged by the RISAA team but I can hardly walk this week. The back is really really bad. But Maybe I'll try for a little while and Good luck to everyone no matter what team your fishing for. It's a great time to try and throw the broom sticks.

I'm not sure who's team Milos on but he scored a biggin' last night...a nice 30+ pound fish. We managed a few smaller fish in the wee hours of the morning...but no weigh ins' got recorded....too far from Don's to S-B it in...
What size leads the tourney so far???

Anybody know if the B&T's are open all night tonight(sat). Capt Don is usually good for an all-nighter. I'm going to sleep now.

From what I heard about the tourney, one of the tackle shops was supposed to be open all night and have coffee and donuts for the weigh-ins. I think it was Weekapog, but not sure. Also I could hardly walk this weedend so I didn't/can't make it to the beaches. I really wish I could trade in my back. That's why it's a lot easier for me to be boat bound. Good luck to all that go and Be careful out there.

Clammer,
That place we talked about - it exploded Friday afternoon. It was unbelievable.
However, it was very quiet Sat. afternoon, no baitfish no predators, nuttin. Guess it was the NW wind.

I thought I had a huge fish Sat am. Turned out to be a tail hooked keeper @ 32"
That was it for me, nothing worth keeping. I did not see anyone catch anything worthwhile.
I'm anxious to see the results for the tourney!
Go team s-b !

I have to say that if I had to rate the fishing conditions for this weekend from 1 to 10, I'd give it a 4. Below average... flat water.. hardly any white water. The moon phase has meant slower water... But thats just me... maybe someone is having great fishing somewhere that I'm not
On a plus, I got to meet fishweewee out on the sand...... nice guy

I had a good time this past weekend. got to spend a bunch of time with John R & Bob Bike, both good friends that I wish I could fish more hours with.
Also met Kadir, of Aquaskinz fame. We were crazy to think we could hook up to talk during a tournament.
Saw mr Habs and Tattoo, being there quiet, humble, fish catching selves.
Nice to meet WeeWee (barely) even though he slept in our hotel room. RI Rockhjound, good to meet ya. Any youg man with a VS on the rod and duct tape on the Korkers has to be ok by me.
A good time in a great location. Back next week for Tri State
