They are doing a bottles only early opening for it at 10am friday. Not sure if that helps you or if you are already at the show.

No, plan on being at the show by around noon, and leaving Boston on Thursday for CT. Likely stop by Canton on the way home and get me some Vicinity and Congress St and whatever DDH is on tap. Bottle of Boston Stout as well.

I went last night because I didn't want to deal with the crowds today, got some DDH melcher and wow its good stuff. Not as good as vicinity (which I got as well) but still great, should be at $12 a bottle!
The selection of bottles is the most I've seen there in a long time, tons of stuff to try you could easily drop a fortune in there.

Since the Artaic madness is over and done with, the lines should be all but gone. Still some timing involved. I you can do weekdays and can get there before work gets out you should be fine at either place, but my preference is Congress Street. I only visited Canton on a Saturday and the line was way too long. Let me/us know if you need more info.

Thanks. It will be a Saturday. We are in town for a swim meet so i don't have alot of open time. I am not one to stand in line anyway. Are Saturdays a wait no matter what?

I am not usually there on Saturdays, but one time I was there was no line at Congress Street and a very long line at Canton.

On Saturdays your best bet is middle of the afternoon in my experience. Go at 3 or so and you can usually be in and out pretty quick if nothing special is on. Bottles are always quicker than fills too.

Got me some DDHs and a couple of Stouts and two Wild Sinister Kid. One will be a birthday present, but may not wait to try the other one.

This batch of artaic just isn't that great IMO. Thought it was just me but ba reviews seem to indicate others feel the same way. Perhaps scaling up the recipe threw it off. First batch of scaled up was off too and they nailed it on subsequent batches, maybe the same will be true for artaic.
