Rumors have been circulating for nearly a year now. Wasn't sure if it was going to happen. According to my sources, Cabela's will maintain their "style" and bass pro theirs. Theoretically they are two different markets/customers

Big hang up before was the purchase of the credit card business from Cabelas. They wanted too much according to Bass Pro. It is VERY profitable, like any credit card business. I like some issues with each store, but really lean to the tackle shops for knowledge, and buy there often to support them. Don't want to live in a "big box" world.
