We limited easily last weekend, not big fish but they were there.
Not sure what this week did to the bite though.

Is there anything that smells worse than 10 gal. Of rotting greenies?
I'll be lucky if the shed doesn't collapse from the stink :-)
Probably wrap it up this week,,,,, uncle

Only one........greenies that lost their way.
Long time ago, headed out Togging in my 81 Celica....I must not have placed things nicely in the back of the trunk, took a wrong turn along the way and the 1-gal. bucket of crabs tipped over. Arrived at spot, cursed a bit....picked up all the crabs and fished...Wasn't married back then so to say I fished a lot would be an understatement...point being, this car always smelled like fish. A few weeks passed and the smell was getting considerably worse...couldn't figure it out and just thought, Ok...it must be time for an internal cleansing (something I hardly ever did with this car). So I went through the whole thing and felt relieved. The very next day, wow....same strong odor getting stronger and stronger. I isolate it to the trunk....rip everything out only to find rotten crabs in the spare tire cavity..."A-HA!"...I clean that mess up, laugh it off and put everything back. Another week or so passes, and the smell is not going away...still just getting worse. Still coming from trunk...I take the carpet out and wash it down...for the next day or so while it's drying...smell is still fairy strong???
...in the trunk of this model Celica, there are 2 side-saddle compartments with drain holes...for whatever reason, I never checked in there....stuck my hand down into both bays only to find the drain holes were blocked, they had started to fill with water....and low and behold, the lost crabs stewing down below.
Learned something that day....Great way to mess with a fishing buddy....drop a few crabs in their car and wait for their story! ......better than an eel on your antennae.

There was no selling that car....too much mOjO.....ended up driving it (while smoking from the engine) straight to the pound. Was a sad day that day....
Back in my hay-day, (when Stripers were no-where to be found) I remember crowding 87 bluefish into that thing...completely filled the trunk, had bluefish stacked up in the back seat.... on the passenger side floor, between my partners legs ....should of taken a damn picture...would've made a great keep-sake, didn't have a cell phone and taking pictures of fish wasn't really a thing for me...but that would have made an AWESOME picture now that I think of it.
The car ALWAYS smelled like fish, but with the crabs........TOTALLY different smell. Impossible to confuse the two
