The kid shot his first one
So my son has been hunting with me for a bunch of years now. He shoots ducks, geese, pheasants, and several other animals. He is becoming quite an outdoorsman, and for all that I am very proud. Well last night at the very end of legal hunting time, he shot his first deer. It was a nice doe. He is very happy, and won't come down from his adrenaline rush anytime soon.

Thanks guys, he has had a great season so far. Aside from being successful afield and on the water he has started doing some volunteer work with Mass Wildlife. Wanting a job with them after college, he was told by one of the state biologist that they require volunteer hours. He helped out at the checking station for a while, right up his ally! He has a long way to go but seems he's on the right track.

Congrats on the doe, and yes volunteering at an organization you want to work is a great opportunity and door opener...

Given the diversity of the human species, there is no “normal” human genome sequence. We are all mutants.
