fishin out there

Taking the boat out to the sound next week out of Conn. Hopefully the fish will still be there then. Can't really find them here now. Heard they're around the canal though. Good luck all!

Hey Denport - Where/when ya goin?
There were some good fish there last week, eastern end of the sound. It's anyone's guess what this screwy weather will do to em, It was about 80 on Monday, supposed to get into the 20's overnight on the weekend, and the rivers are swollen.

LI Experet

I just ran my boat up from LI sound last Sunday. Fishers, Bartlets Reef off of Niantic and Hatchetts off of Old Lyme Are Hot. Live EELs and Tube and worm rigs were working well. I'm going to miss the last 2 weeks of Striper Fishing. Last time out we boated 24 fish over 34" and 5 over 40" at Hatchetts on eels. Incomming tide. I'll need to find some Cod spots! Good luck and email me if you need some advise. I'll be working at a marina in Old Lyme Sat.

I'm going to try to get out of Old Saybrook one more time this weekend before I winterize.
Anyone have a wind forecast for the weekend?

Thanks a lot Jeff, I was thinking tomorrow - but Sunday looks good. Look for me at LSS, yellow 23 Seacraft.

I wouldn't bother with LSS. It has not been productive! Maybe I'll see you two girls out there!

I'm not doing any Gary K 3 in the morning thing (although the eels would be easy to handle , frozen solid).
More like mid morning, fish the outgoing.
Thanks for the update on LSS, but since I'll run right by it, I'll hit it any way
Yep, just keep your eyes open I'll be wearing my Helly Hansons over my skirt.
Yea, and bring a digital I want an action shot of my personal best

Try LSS. It was productive Thursday and Friday. All bass to 40 inches, not one bluefish
