Pitching in to clean up.

Someone else took the time to cleanup the beach and put all the crap they found in a junked cooler. I followed their lead and carried it to my truck to get it out of there. Thought about digging through it to see if there were any good lures under there....the tackle box on top had only sand, and the boots weren't my size.
The refrigerator had to stay behind for now.

It makes a big difference sometimes. I used to fish a spot on the canal that was "inaccessible" to most. After daybreak or the pre dawn tides could draw some attention. I used to bring a white kitchen trash bag with me and fill it with trash from the beach. Most was wash up but it didn't matter. Had an old guy come down looking all tough to toss me out and when I picked up the trash bag to leave, he said "what's that?" I told him that I do it every time I fish here. He said "enjoy your night and good luck". Not such a secret spot but #^&#^&#^&#^& heads leaving trash made locals want to shut it down.
