Fake Florence news
Anderson Cooper standing in a ditch to make things look worse than what they are.The actual water height all around him is that of his crew,he really is standing in a hole.His crew spent much time looking for a place to film this.FACT.
This really is a lie.That hole was found and AC was put into it to give the impression that he was in much deeper water.This is a fact,it can't be denied.
CNN once again caught reporting fake news and nobody cares.

One could argue that instead of finding low water for AC, they looked for a high spot to place the camera.

Negative.He's standing in a ditch that was found for him,this is a fact.All the surrounding water is at the height of the camera crew...he really is standing in a hole.

I won’t argue that this hurricane was hyped up. I believe that ever since Katrina, all media, local and fed government always over emphasize the dangers and severity of storms for the simple reason of covering their asses... I don’t even own a tv so I can’t really comment on fake news on cable news outlets... I just read my news on Reuters and BBC...
I guess my point should be- everything on TV is fake. I’ve know it my whole life. News is only the message hat someone wants you to hear. There’s always an agenda.

I am sure the owners of those homes and property didn't think all that water was fake.. and the earth is not flat ..
I do find it amusing the constant fake new media and bias complainers repeatedly re post stuff like this all the time ... Spence just waiting for the Snopes is fake also comments those happen next ...

Is it technically misleading news? He is standing in water that is deep, but just not as deep as all the water around it. Fake would be more like he was standing in a kiddie pool in California while pretending to be in a hurricane zone.

I actually watched his rebuttal to the accusations this morning, he does a good job of debunking most of the sensationalism, though there was still some, and it was not a Joe Friday Just The Facts 'Mam.
It was pretty convenient to make it look awful for 90% of the video. |

Come on, he states the highway is under less water and it’s right there. Part of the point of reporting is to show what the locals are dealing with. This isn’t like falling over in fake wind.
