Reread mine … LOL...
You "came" across a fender.
But seriously the squid will be here any day now.. I didn't get out due to the weather last weekend, and this weekend the tides suck... but I know there will be squid on that first weekend in May and I will be out there in the middle of them. Water temp in Middletown is at 49 this morning... I usually catch my first bucket full once it gets over 52.

Looks out in the garage this morning and there’s chit load of litter fenders out there,,, who’d da thunk it... ;-)
I just looked, it was May 8th last year for the big push around here...
But I’m still going out again Friday for a look see and check a bug pot...

Couple Asian boats came in empty from last night....
And so did i from the morning,,, well almost
1 pot with left over frozen smelts for bait, who knew ..

There were half dozen or more draggers in the area fishing for what I dun no... I was marking stuff like crazy but couldn’t connect... any ideas what the target was
