The Cod slayers!!!!
Went out yesterday with Schoolie Monster and we put a hurtin on the Cod. We ended up with 12 keepers, most pretty good size some up to 10-12 lbs, nice eatin ones. We had a great day. lost quite a few AAAH schoolie. LMAO. But it was a beautiful day, water was like glass out there, was a bit chilly but could not ask for much more than what we had for the final voyage for the Alternative this year. Yep time to put her to bed for the season as next week is Bambi killin time!!!!!!
Schoolie also got the biggest ugliest sculpun I have ever seen. Thing probably weighed about 5 lbs.
The fish were pretty scattered out over on the Nahant side, but we managed to pick a few off every drift, and the best thing of the day was NO DOGFISH!!!!!!!!!!
SM, was a great time and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Hope you got some rest last night and the little one was feelin better.
Look out Bambi here I come!!!

You got that right Jenn, I am having a big problem with the winter months already. Gonna be a long 4-5 months with no fishies. Probably gonna be put in a rubba room soon. May need to do a little road trip to FL in about Feb. How you doing Sh##bag.
Sure wish we could have hooked up more this year. SO many fish so little time as they say. Tell the hubby we said hello, hope you guys have a great holiday!!!

Yes, it was a good day. Another great day weatherwise with no wind and just a half hour of light sprinkles or so. A little more wind would have been good to improve our drifts, but hard to complain about puttin' some nice sized fish in the boat. Had a blast.
FW, thanks and have a good trip home and enjoy the holidays.
Hopefully we can do some holdover fishing when you get back.
Hope the folks enjoy the cod.
PS... those sculpin are pretty scary lookin... glad they don't grow to a few hundred pounds, they'd probably swallow you whole.

Things done at the last possible minute are done with the greatest possible information. Procrastination is, therefore, the most efficient means of doing things.
