Fisherman down at Sachuest

Don't know who it is or if it is one of our guys. Angler died after falling off rocks at Sachuest Point.

I think that at some point, every one of us that fished the surf
gets lulled into a false sense of safety because "we've done this a
million times". I think back on this season alone, and there were dozens of
ways to die.

Always sad to hear when someone goes.

Joe Martins found a dead fisherman out there back in the 90’s.

Not that it would have helped this guy, rest in peace.
After getting knocked down at PJ out on a rock off the point, I bought a wetsuit. Doesn't make you invincible, but it does help. I always ended up wet fishing rocks anyways, sand not so much.
Fishing off ledge points is dangerous, a rogue wave is always possible and climbing back up is not always.

very sad

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

1984 was a warning, not a guidebook!

It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.

Not that many years ago, a chef from Brick Alley Pub drowned there while surfcasting.
